What Jane Austen Didn’t Know Will Hurt You

Follow-up to The Chronicles of Discernment

Here is the best short article I’ve read, so far, showing the vital missing links in the Christian analogy of C.S. Lewis’ Narnia books. It contains the details I couldn’t include last month in my own article without rereading the series, which I wasn’t willing to do. This article is well worth reading, if only to see how far Aslan’s “sacrifice” misses the mark of depicting Jesus’ perfect atonement for our sin.

The Chronicles of Discernment

Walt Disney Studios has made a big splash with their latest film The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch, and the Wardrobe. It has caused some raised eyebrows in our family. Especially at how the Christian community is eating it up.
